Sofwave Procedure: Step by Step from Consultation to Going Home
Step-by-step
- Consultation: Dr. Lee Da-in reviews your concerns (sagging facial contour, lines around the eyes), medical history, medications and past treatments.
- Treatment plan: areas (full face, brows and forehead, under-chin, neck), intensity or dose, and the expected course are explained.
- Preparation: cleansing, then anaesthesia — numbing cream.
- Treatment: performed with Sofwave, taking about 30–45 minutes.
- Calming and going home: soothing care if needed and aftercare instructions. Downtime: minimal (temporary redness).
How it works
Sofwave sends multiple parallel ultrasound beams to the mid-dermis (about 1.5 mm deep) while cooling the surface. It stimulates dermal collagen to address fine lines and sagging contours.
Tell the doctor before treatment

- Recent procedures and dates
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Inflammation or wounds in the area
