ONDA Lifting Procedure: Step by Step from Consultation to Going Home
Step-by-step
- Consultation: Dr. Lee Da-in reviews your concerns (double chin, full lower cheeks), medical history, medications and past treatments.
- Treatment plan: areas (double chin, cheeks, jawline), intensity or dose, and the expected course are explained.
- Preparation: cleansing, then anaesthesia — usually not needed (cooling system).
- Treatment: performed with ONDA microwave (Coolwaves), taking about 20–40 minutes.
- Calming and going home: soothing care if needed and aftercare instructions. Downtime: swelling or soreness for a few days.
How it works
ONDA uses 2.45 GHz microwaves (Coolwaves) to selectively heat the fat layer while cooling the skin surface. On the face it is used for localized fat such as a double chin or full cheeks, together with firmness.
Tell the doctor before treatment

- Recent procedures and dates
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Implanted electronic devices or metal implants (tell the doctor)
For care after treatment, see ONDA Lifting recovery and aftercare.
Medical notice: every procedure can cause side effects such as swelling, bruising, redness, pain, inflammation or pigmentation, and results and their duration vary between individuals. Suitability and method are decided only after a consultation with the doctor. This page is general information, not a diagnosis. Fees follow the clinic's official non-covered fee schedule.
